Not surprising for EA to abandon franchise again. At least we know why the mode is in such crappy shape in M22 and we can give up hope of it getting patched up.

We finally got a little bit of momentum the past year and just like that it's gone. I'd be curious to know if Swami & Deuce got shifted to NCAA. It would be nice for one of these games to be worth playing.

Disappointing that they canceled what they already planned, but it’s not too surprising. The mid cycle updates to franchise were always going to end eventually in my opinion. I can’t think of any other sports game that does it, don’t remember The Show or NBA 2K ever doing it, nor FIFA the few years I’ve bought it in the past. It was nice while it lasted.

If this is true I'm honestly not surprised. But my lack of surprise has more to do with the EA higher ups not knowing what they're doing more than anything else. Companies suck man because the people at the top don't care about anything but money.

That's not inherently BAD, but when it's clear that nothing else matters....not quality of the product, public perception, not how your workers are treated, that's when it becomes a problem. Again corporations suuuuuuck.

They also never fixed the bugs from the Beta in June, the bug where CPU won't hire user coordinators that was promised in July, or released the Playbooks blog that was supposed to release in August. This is a full fledged failure to deliver by EA.

And just like always they'll get away with it and their pockets won't be hurt because all of the MUT packs make more for them than all of us franchise players ever could.
