Playcall limit work correctly?

For the life of me I can’t get playcall limits to work in CFM. Does using a custom playbook break it possibly?
Remaining plays always says 0 across the board.

It shows how many are remaining while it’s locked. It’s weird.

To elaborate on this - any unlocked play that is not on cooldown will never show the correct number of uses remaining. If the play is on cooldown, then the number of uses shown is correct. If the play is locked, it obviously shows as locked.

It’s an annoying bug.

Yes. Same here.

The cool down works as designed... I have to wait 10 plays before I can call it again.

The the play call limit has never worked.

This is not accurate information.

The play call limit absolutely works. While I was actively playing Madden 22 this cycle (and Madden 21 last year as well), I always used the play call limit. Plays correctly locked after the number of uses I specified in Franchise options.

What doesn't work is the accurate display of the number of uses remaining of a particular play while said play has remaining uses and is not on cool down. The bug is purely visual.

Yes. You are correct. I went home last night and set my playcall to 1 and, as you stated, the visual aspect of it never displayed correctly. Previously, I set the play call limit to 10 and the play cool down to ten so the truth of the matter is that in a 12 minute quarter with 11 second run down, it was highly unlikely I would ever get to call the same play 10 times and be locked out.

So, EA, I give you an absolute "my bad" on this one.

Its a visual bug but it works as intended. Been this way since launch.
