Some New Info For Madden 23

I've been OK with adding more advanced passing mechanics for some time, but I'm worried about the visuals of adding more to the screen. The score bug, the momentum meter, the receiver icons, the Xfactor icons, the audibles, the match-up indicator, the opponent indicator, any icons created from abilities (ala Blitz Radar or Pro Reads) and so on. It's gonna be cluttered as hell.

This new feature would be a waste if the CPU is still a Robo QB completing high percentage passing with no miss throws, no miss targets ect..

I think all of the passing "improvements" could be attained by simply using the mechanics that are already there coupled with better tendencies, ratings, and statistical driven data.

Mini tackle battle. No bueno.

A lot of time and resources spent on toggle off features for me.

I would rather see tackling applied to the sticks as a push-pull battle than a button mashing mini game.

You can’t tout a move away from animation based gameplay and then follow it up with talk about a button mashing mini game.

We’ll see what “hit everything” looks like, but the rest reads as bringing back old features and pretending they’re new….again.

Nostalgia is a difficult drug to cope with.

I want Tony Bruno back, no, it was repetitive.

I want a NFL show to return, no, I will button mash all the way

through it.

I want vision cone to come back, no, too much clutter/graphics on the field.

We are a hard bunch to please.

Options to toggle the clutter will be a great addition and

I don't see why that won't happen.

Waiting with popcorn in August.

Judging by that shot of DK Metcalf it looks like the player model got upgraded, shoulder pads look a lot more realistic…

If true, at this point I just gotta laugh. Nothing wrong with revamping features over time but my goodness. We’re in a new generation, this series needs a fresh injection. This will be the third game on current gen, if the game doesn’t appear to atleast take some kind of leap it’s just sad at this point.
