Superstar abilities don't appear in franchise mode for certain players, any help?

Jeffrey Simmons on the Titans superstar abilities are completely blank and you can't assign El Toro to him once you begin a franchise. Cordarrelle Patterson of the falcons also has blank abilities despite being a superstar. I'm sure there are more but is there any way to fix this?

The initial superstar ability assignments in the front-end roster and Franchise mode are intentionally different because Tiburon’s design team decided to cap the number of abilities a player may have in Franchise mode to 2 for non-quarterback X-Factors and also any Superstar dev player. This has been the case since Superstar X-Factor was introduced in Madden 20.

You can probably get around this issue by importing the final roster update into a new Franchise which uses the preseason start point? Someone please correct me if I am wrong on that, I haven’t booted up Madden 22 in a while now. Depending on how thorough Tiburon was with their live start point updates, you might be able to use the final Super Bowl start point and see ability updates using that as well.

I understand that some players have a unique combination that you lose if you edit them and I also understand that players are typically limited to two abilities excluding the QB. The problem is about 15 superstars have no abilities by default (you can assign them) when I load the active roster and start a franchise. Simmons has a unique combo but he comes in having no abilities so you can't fix him (and a few others are unique as well). Just strikes me as weird...

I have the same issue. It also happens to any player that earns an upgrade on a cpu team. After the season when the stat upgrades are given, players are upgraded but their abilities/x-factors are empty. I can go in and assign one, but it's usually 30-50 players by year 3 that have empty abilities. And who wants to go through and do this all the time

I noticed to that Micah parsons just disappears. and dak just turns into superstar. I talked to somebody at ea before last patch and they said a fix was coming. You see how that worked out.
