Well I look foolish now, I didn’t realize that was all the bumpers did now and you control zoom solely with the directional pad and don’t use the bumpers to zoom without the fisheye effect. Or am I missing something?

No. I think that is about it. The Y and X button appear to dolly in and out....almost as if you were physically moving the camera towards the field or away from the field. These 2 don't seem to have any effect on the "fisheye effect" you refer to since the lens is essentially staying at a fixed focal length.

Using the left/right directional pad appears to simulate lens zooming in and out. This is where you begin to get the fisheye look if you zoom out too far as it essentially is becoming a fisheye lens at that point.

Just like a real lens, when you are zoomed way out to a wide angle there is deep depth of field, which means everything is in focus. If you hit the right bumper over and over you may not see anything happen to the blur/focus and this might make you think it's not working.

However if you zoom in with either of the tools (or a combination of both) and hit the right bumper over and over you should see a blur creeping in that create some nice images if you desire to capture them.

Hope this helps. Just out of curiosity what did you expect the bumpers to do? Is there something that older Maddens did?

If you pressed on the right bumper the camera would zoom out during pre play AND you'd be able to "swing" the zoom camera by the use of the right stick.

it was truly amazing

Found some issues with the current tool mainly after you change the preplay camera in regards to the coach cam (Viewing your plays).

I will be fixing this and adding in the new option for the side view camera. I am thinking of renaming cameras to the following:

STANDARD
ZOOM
WIDE
ALL 22
BROADCAST (Sideview)

I have an awesome suggestion

Why not make the in game presets all new?

Meaning do a mod that automatically changes the camera angles so that we dont have to use a tool?

I have no clue what you’re talking about. The cameras are automatically switched when needed..?

You either need to read the OP or try it out.. it’s a tool to easily modify the camera file you need which you load into frosty. I think you’re confused on what the tool is for.

Been trying to figure this out for a while and got stumped. I had a custom set working but wanted to try a new one. So I deleted my old mod, got a new project open, followed all the steps again but it keeps crashing loading into a game. I can get to all the menus, but loading into any game crashes instantly and I have isolated it to this.
