Hey TDawg...out of curiosity, I saw a few folks on Discord talking about trading for players that had dev points when they got them. Let's take the infamous McSorley from Baltimore for example. In my progression report, it says he obtained (off top of my head) like 16 dev points after the week 16 progression. He was currently rated a 56. I thought, if I trade for him the dev points come with him, but he came over as the same 56 with zero dev points.

The CPU didn't progress him at all...Just curious about this. Do dev points typically disappear if the CPU doesn't use them? Just a bit confused.

So did you run the tool and then go back into week 16 and not progress? I've honestly never tried anything like that but they shouldn't lose points if they are traded and they should disappear either.

Actually, it is week 3 of the 2020 season...was just looking back at the week 16 progression summary from the 2019 season and wanted to see if those dev points were used, came over in trade or disappeared. I bet it was something maybe going into the new season?

Josh Allen, for example, should have progressed up to a 90 OVR, but he is still sitting on a 78. All of my user (Cowboys) players had dev points that matched the report from the tool.

That is very strange. I've never seen points not being used unless they are free agents or in practice squad. But once signed they get used as soon as possible.

I think you may have already addressed this, but do you see any issues with progressing at Weeks 1 and 8 as opposed to 8 and 16?

It's only been tested at 8 and 16. I don't think it would cause an issue but I don't know for sure.

I tested it and it worked with a new cfm at weeks 1 and 8 of season 1. Not sure yet on an existing cfm in which I used weeks 8 and 16 for the first two years.
