I didn’t proceed to the off-season/draft, but maybe it only takes into account the new rookies when you open up the program in the following season.

Tdawg, when does the program assign potential ratings to rookies?

1st progression stage of their rookie season. The only issue I can see is that when you do the 1st progression it sets the order of the players for that year. I know for a fact that if you do your first progression at week 8 that order won't change through all 3 stages which is very important. I am 90% confident that if you do it after you load you draft class you are good. What I do not know is if when that draft class gets loaded if it changes the order of the players. If it does all the potentials from the first stage will be messed up for the next two stages if you did it week 1.

Actually thinking about it more you really need to do it at week 8 and 16. Other areas will get messed up as well. With how practice squad players are viewed as well as free agents. Sorry you don't like the week's I choose but it was for a reason and while it probably won't break the tool it will **** up progression eventually.

Hey Tdawg, absolutely still loving this tool. Quick question. I just completed season 3 offseason. After the draft my first two draft picks had some skill points to distribute (3 for my 1st rounder and 8 for my 2nd rounder). How did that happen? Do other rookies on other teams get a little post-draft bonus?

Also, how are hidden potentials accounted for? The ones where you have to play 500 snaps before it’s revealed...

When did you do your progressions? Week 8 and 16? Also what are their Dev traits if you know?

Hidden potential is only cosmetic in game. The tool knows the actual Dev triat from the get go.

Yeah I used weeks 8 and 16. That’s what I figured regarding the hidden potential rating.

If I remember correctly the draft bonus was awarded when I progressed from the end of the draft to the draft recap/adjust roster screen. Only my top two picks got the bonus. It only happened from year 2 to year 3 (so far).
