Re: TDawg3782's Madden 20 CFM Progression Tool

Would you recommend using this tool with default EA roster updates?

If we make personal edits in season will this effect the tool?

Example - a player is a 75 OVR but is a pro bowler and MVP - if I edit him to 85 OVR. Will the tool still use the left over upgrades for him?

Will a 60 OVR rookie ever make it to a 99 OVR player. Or will the max out +15 points and end up a 75 OVR?

Just answered my own question for 3. Did know their was a potential rating?

So a 60 OVR player with 99 potential will have ability to reach that over 4 years.

That's neat!

But what about a player coming in at 75 OVR but his potential is only 70?

If they draw a potential lower then their current Ovr they will just not progress.

I was doing research. Is Potential a rating only on your tool or does the game have a potential rating as well?

No the game doesn't have anything like this. Everything is XP based in Madden. My tool creates a hidden potential for all players with less then 4 years experience and then will create new potentials for rookies every year after the 1st year. This eliminates the XP system completely.

Awesome.

So how does this work with draft classes?

Potential for the 1st OVR pick to have a 60 potential? If so that's awesome news!

And potential for a 6th rounder to have 90 Potential?

Do we have ability inside the tool to switch potential?

I've watched the video and it's amazing work you've done!

Currently working on v2.0. Main update here is a new regression addition. It will allow for some players not to drop off so statically like it currently does. Things will be more dynamic and you will have the possibility of a Tom Brady or Frank Gore. Older players who can still play.

Yes. They don't lose Ovr. So if the first overall pick is 75 and he draws a lower potential then that's it. Oh well. He's stuck at 75.

Correct.

Do we have ability inside the tool to switch potential?
No. It's all done through formulas.

Thanks.
