Questions about XBOX Madden Draft Classes

I have a question about draft classes. Two years ago when I used imported draft classes, I found the draft to be really unrealistic. Let me explain. It seemed like there were too many good players available, which led to two big problems.

1. The projected round for the draftees was way off. There were plenty of projected 3rd rounders who went undrafted and a projected 5th rounder was really someone who had no chance of getting drafted. The problem with that is that there were so many projected 1st or 2nd rounders that it was hard to narrow down who to scout as your projected top pick.

2. The biggest problem, IMO, was that because there were so many good players, it didn't matter what you did in the draft after the 2nd round. This is because if you made a bad pick, there were so many undrafted rookie free agents who were rated in the 70's or so because so many good players go undrafted.

Whew... now that I said all that, why I am asking is that I wanted to know if this problem has ever been fixed. I hope so because I'd love to start using real draft classes again.

I guess it has been fixed. People are pretty accurate with their projections and it does matter what you do after the 2nd round. I'd say up until the 5th round matters, 6th & 7th you can find a few sleepers. There aren't a whole ton of undrafted rookies, more that get drafted then released. The only positions were there are quite a few are TE & CB, otherwise maybe 2-3 per position in the FA market. I really like importing rookies

Awesome. Who's imported draft classes did you use Kdawg? Sounds like the ones I'm looking for...

It would be awesome to find some uptodate ones, without Leinart, Wright, and DeAngelo Williams etc, whilst still keeping realistic ratings. It is a huge juggling act though I know, it requires a lot of time and tweaking, and I don't think there really are any completely accurate classes available.

Its pretty hard getting accurate draft classes. I had to sim the first season on NCAA 3 times just to get it w/o Leinart, but then Brad Smith went pro. Without some kind of draft class editor, I don't think you'll be able to find an absolute perfect one...
