XBOX ROSTER UPDATE QUESTION.. PLEASE HELP

Whats up everyone. I have a question for all of you and hopefully someone can help me out with. I recently got my xbox modded and all is good with it. I am trying to find a site where I can download updated rosters that I can have my buddy transfer to my hard drive so that I can play. I tried one site already (xboxrosters.tripod.com) and it had a Dec 21 update for Madden on xbox so my friend downloaded it, and it was a UDATA folder which means it should work.. right? WRONG. My xbox couldnt load the file after he sent it to my hard drive and even when I went to load the updated roster it was just a bunch of ????? (question marks) and didint work. If anyone knows where I can get download an update that works I would really appreciate it.. thank you

What's the answer, b/c i cannot bypass the ??? and damaged file messages. I have tried like 3 other Dec.21 rosters and they all do the same.
