Team Ratings go wild after CAP

Have you noticed that once you create a player, the team ratings get wacky? I noticed the Cowboy's offense and defense went to high 80 ratings after adding three defensive players....all of whom were no greater than a 74 overall rating.
I'm holding out for the season opening EA roster...til then, I'll practice, play some games, get things down, and do some onling play as well.

Do you think that adding those players ACTUALLY make the offense better? The answer is NO. The overall ratings of the teams are mostly just crap anyway.

How would me adding Johnnie Morton to the 49ers, which in turn has boosted their DEFENSIVE rating up to an 84, affect defensive gameplay for the 49ers?

They still have their so-so CBs and D-Linemen......... how would that change with the addition of Johnnie Morton?

I never really got how teams are rated overall...not an average or anything. Just doesnt make since and it doesnt really matter when you play either

Because regardless of who's on the field, the overall rating of the defensive unit as a whole has gone up.
