If you accually search around the sight you will notice that 86 is pretty fast for a RB for FBG
Examples
Fast RBs in Madden
Bennett: Madden Spd & Acc = 97-97 / FBG = 94-96
Portis: M = 96-98 / FBG = 93-92
A. Green: M = 96-96 / FBG = 95-93
Bell: M = 96-97 / FBG = 95-92
Tomlinson: M = 95-97 / FBG = 92-97
Low 90's speed in Madden
Westbrook: M = 94-98 / FBG = 87-92
Kevin Jones: M = 93-94 / FBG = 92-88
Alexander: M = 92-98 / FBG = 89-93
EA seems to be alittle lazy in my opinion on ratings. When a player has a break out year the first thing they seem to mess with is the speed. Strenght and agility is usally not messed with alot by EA but they will move a players speed just because he plays better.
A great example is Jerimiah Trotter
A good run stuffer but a little slow
His Speed-Acceleration-Strenght-Agilitys ratings are
On Madden
79-85-77-74--------Which make him as fast as J.Farrior
(79-82), C.Crowder
(79-86), and faster than Quarles
(77-86), I dont think so.
On FBG they are
75-73-83-73 -------which seem alittle more logical to me.
When the new rosters come out from EA the first thing I'm going to do is change out all my EA ratings with FBG ratings because IMO they are way more realistic.
