Create A Team: Editing Players

Can you edit the attributes of players on your Create A Team without starting a franchise? I want to Create a Team, then keep it as its own file, so I can start different franchises over time and replace different teams in the NFL.

I see a place to go to edit your rosters, but the Create A Team-Team won't come up there.

I realize that I can just start a Franchise and then edit some attributes within the Franchise Mode (apparently only the cosmetics, not the skills). But then I'd have to do it all over again when I want to bring that team into a new Franchise, wouldn't I?

Basically, just want to change some of the player names to family/friends, and maybe fiddle with the skills a bit.

Im not certain but I think you can create the team, edit the names and general info in franchise and then export it (save it to mem card). Then all you would need to do is load it when you want to start another franchise.
