Same question here. I have silver only and don't see any roster update when connected to Xbox Live. I see there are 69 downloads for Madden, but no roster download. Am I not looking in the right place? Or is it that one needs the gold membership to access it? Any help is appreciated.

gold membership is so you can play on xbox live. you can dl rosters using the silver. you need to go in game and to the online section to dl them though. you cannot dl from the dashboard. you're welcome.

with the silver, you can do everything but play on xbox live games. you can dl rosters/files, shop on the marketplace, etc. if you wanna play pd0 on 360 online, you need the gold. give me a bit and i'll find a link stating what i just did.

Thanks to all for your help and the info. I just DL'd updated roster for Madden. I have a 30-day trial membership with GOLD for now.
