360 Create a Player

I performed a search but did not find what I was looking for. When creating a player on the 360 version, is there no way to just enter attributes. You must go thru the combine?? If so, any help on getting a better 40 time and bench press would be appreciated. Thanx.

Well no one has replied yet so I figured I would eply myself to bump it and clarify. I was trying to create Darrell Shropshire on the Falcons for the 360. I must suck a it because the best I cold get was a 13 overall rating and he is the Falcons 4th or 5th DT. So I was wondering if on a new roster set someone who is better than I could create him with decent ratings. Thanx.

I just heard today that if you get to level 30, you can edit your created player's attributes. Not sure though. A tip for the 40, lay the controller flat on the ground, hold it down with your thumbs under each thumbstick. Use your index fingers to flick the sticks back alternatively. The biggest part is to RELAX YOUR FINGERS. I was having trouble until I did this. Now that I relax my fingers, I get a solid rhythm much more easily, and I now average between a mid 4.3 and a high 4.4. For the bench press, make sure you tap the triggers after you put the bar up to get more stamina. Also, start the next rep a little before the bar gets into the blue or you'll get a bigger drop in stamina. See if this helps.

I'm happy nailing 4.5 40's that seems to give almost any position high speed ratings >_<

I don't get how 35 reps only = 65 strength for some positions though.

I am getting better on the 40 but i am still having trouble with the bench press. And why when creating a DT i go thru he tacking drills and its counting points for the offense (TD, pancake block, etc.) Whats that about?

Also I figured the reason we have to go thru this to create a player is to prevent maxed out players since you are now allowed to take your custom rosters online. Keep things fair online I suppose.
