The basic adjustment used by a lot of people last year for run / pass ratio etc was something like:

+10 pass, +17 offensive aggressiveness, -8 defensive aggressiveness

sim injury 107, in game injury 105

I used a modified version and was relatively happy with the results:

+ 5 pass, + 8 offensive aggressiveness, -4 defensive aggressiveness, + 4 defense pass

sim injury 106 (started at 100 in week one and added one point per week until week six), in game injury 104

I'm a little confused here. Can you guys explain how you are changing every team's run/pass ratio? I thought you could only adjust user controlled teams in a franchise. Thanks.

Yes - you need to control all 32 teams in franchise to do this. This doesn't mean you have to do everything for all 32 teams - you can delegate pretty much any task to the cpu still for any teams you'd like.
