QB Drew Henson — This means Tyler Thigpen is the No. 3 quarterback; the question is who will be the No. 2 QB?

LB John Kerr — Impressive in a Friday night practice against Chiefs but missed too much time because of injury.

WR Todd Lowber — Could be headed for the practice squad; remember, this guy had never played a down of football before joining the Vikings.

P Alex Reyes — Chris Kluwe has shanked a couple of punts this preseason but he’s also won the job. Reyes’ greatest strength was supposed to be the fact he could kickoff but he did not impress in that area.

The Vikings have traded for Eagles veteran quarterback Kelly Holcomb. The Vikings give up a sixth round draft pick in 2008. Holcomb is expected to compete for the backup quarterback spot.

See, now I thought Dugan was actually a Tight End that dropped back into an H back role (fullback) for some plays. I remember the play-by-play team calling him a tight end... so maybe, since the Vikes have two FB's already, maybe he should be made a tight end. Just a thought...

The Vikings were awarded former New England TE Garrett Mills today on waivers, according to a report on the Boston Globe. He will become part of the Vikings’ 53-man roster, which means someone will have to be released today to make room for him.

The Vikings have claimed TE Garrett Mills off waivers from New England. To make room on the roster, G Brian Daniels was released.
