Draft Picks

Quick question, I am a Cowboys fan and use them in the franchise mode, is there anyway to get the Browns 1st round pick that we are due in an easy way and not have to trade a bunch of stuff to get it? Just wondering. Thanks.

Control the Browns in your franchise but let the CPU run them, then just trade your 7th for their 1st.

I didn't know you could control two teams, but i could manually control the cowboys, and control the browns but let the cpu do all the work for them?

yes, but i believe you have to do it from the very beginning of the franchise. The spot where you picked the cowboys to be your team...highlight every team but when you play your franchise just use whoever you want. This also helps with trading, just control whoever you want when/if a real NFL trade is made or players sign to keep your rosters correct.

interesting, just seems like a lot of work to do if you control all the teams, i mean, is there a menu wherever you can switch all the functions to cpu controlled?

How does this work once you get into the offseason? Is it a whole lot of exta work to do, managing free agents etc...? Does the game ask for your approval for every roster move or does the computer even do the roster moves for the other teams if you are controling them?
