ZoMaN504's Updated Player Ratings (PS3)

Well, I had no class today so I decided to play around with a lot of the player ratings in each category. Nothing too dramatic was done to any single player, but some top guys have dropped while others have gone up. I used a combination of fantasy rankings, nfl stats page, and my own intuition from watching football every sunday. These ratings are more or less for this year only. Some guys who aren't having a great year will have dropped, not too much though because they may finish up strong, and it was hard to lower some of the ratings enough to drop them (i.e. LT). Some examples of guys who have climbed are Barrett Ruud and Patrick Willis. Jemarcus Russell and Brady Quinn (one of my best friends from high school) are rated at 83. Russell had a much stronger arm while Quinn's got more awareness. Guys like Marc Bulger, Drew Brees, and Steven Jackson have dropped. Tomlinson is at a 98, dropping him was rather hard, I lowered a lot of ratings, but I still think he's the top back in the league. Top return guys have 98-99 return ratings now (Parrish, Ginn, Moore, Figurs, Cribbs, Hester, Hall, and Drummond). Some rookies were not touched, this was because their ratings will increase enough over the year. Props to Krul for his latest update, as it was my starting point.

- adjusted a few more top guys and middle-tier guys. If anyone has any suggestions, leave them and i'll edit some more.

...no real changes here, upped a few guys based off of sunday performances

Peppers, Little, Kampman

Taylor, Smith, Burgess

Williams, Harris, Williams
LOLB:
Merriman, Johnson, Porter
MLB:
Urlacher, Tatupu, Fletcher
ROLB:
Bullocks, Briggs, Brooks
CB:
Bailey, Mcalister, Sheppard
FS:
Reed, Sanders, Dawkins
SS:
Polamalu, Wilson, Rhodes
K,P:
no real changes, Feely and Reed are higher

Yea, I'll check them out, the packer's D has certainly impressed me this year. I got another update coming tomorrow, more changes made.

if you edit ratings doesn't it edit everyone's contract and potentially change their age?

It does change their contracts...which is good for some players, bad for others. The age thing is just for the draft classes, you can't edit draftees or else their age will change. The glitches are a little ridiculous, but we won't get into that, with updated player ratings and the new draft classes, franchises are still pretty fun.

Thanks for looking into them guys, I mention Atari Bigby because I heard whatever team he was trying to make wanted him to be a CB, which I would think he'd be a little bit faster then Madden has him which I think is 85 or 87? Maybe he's not I'm not sure, but he's been a ballhawk safety compared to Marq... Manuel thats all I know him by lol.

No problem. I heard EA is releasign an update this week, so Ill see what all they do, then i'll release my next update.

Thanks man, someone is around to do some updates with PS3 and the others have too. All of them have been great, I wish I had an idea what I was doing I'd try.
