Either.

You'll need to 'unzip' the compressed file, or you can use the .z36 file and not have to do anything.

Yes, but only to transfer the roster file to the X360 hard drive. Once you have 'moved' the roster file, log out of 'Madden', and login to your normal gamer profile, and save the roster file.

I have one notice to you, gameplay seems sometimes "unreal", for example it seems like during some plays the whole action is accelerated.
I'll now start to play using your V2

what is the difference between V1 and V2, assuming these files are both for the 360

Yes, both are for x360.

V1 had some players that suffered from the 'Big Arm' glitch that were missed by me.

V2 addressed that issue.
