nope they would almost be competing with themselves for next years game if they did that

Do any of the roster gurus on here or anywhere make a downloadable roster with the new free agent signings? I lost count after the pro bowl so I don't have any moves on my Madden since then.

Yes there will be an update. It will be titled Madden 09 and should be out around September.
