Here are the rosters EA has posted for online use.

All major transactions are their from what I can see.

as the 1st one to download this file I assure that its the real deal. I don't have the game yet, but I downloaded it to see if its real. This file works from what I can see. Thank you jim for posting this file. Its good that I don't have to go into an online game in order to have up to date rosters. When was the file made available to you jim?

Thanks a ton dude! This is great for people like me who dont have a fast enough connection. However, just a question: I have pre-ordered the Asian version (which is English!) since I am based outside the US. Do you know if these rosters would work?

If he's in the game he's not on the Cowboys, I have the roster update and Favre is on the Jets but no Adam Jones for the Cowboys. I haven't looked in the FA pool though.

Pennington should be signed to the Dolphins, Leftwich to the Steelers, and Archuleta to the Raiders (80 rating too high) -- otherwise, good roster update. There are some other minor transactions not included but at this point in the pre-season it's not worth moving Dave Rayner to the Lions! Of course, just like every year, free agents are rated way, way too high (Ty Law 86, John Lynch 85, Chris Naeole 88 to name just a few)

Why are there so many rookies and other players in the free agent pool?

I'm going to use this roster because it has Favre as a 37 year old. Usually, I'd rather maintain my own, but when I release Favre from the legends team, he's 25 years old.

I guess I'll make due with this and go through the free agents and add the guys. It sucks that on PS3 they again restrict the roster sizes so much. It'd be nice to add players excess players and then choose active players for gamedays.
