Re: 1st roster update

I don't know if this would be fixed via patch or roster update but in the record book #10 receptions in a season, Andre Johnson didn't catch 115 balls for the Broncos in 08' it was for the Texans, lol.

Re: 1st roster update

What's up with all these low rated players? I see several players mostly rookies or lower depth chart guys with ratings in the 40's. Now, they may not deserve high ratings for sure but 40's? No NFL player in Madden should be rated lower than the low-mid 50's IMO.

This even IMO should be special team players only or backup punters or kickers. I didn't have Madden 09 for 360 because I still played Madden on the PS2 last year. I made the switch to the 360 & PS3 last year. I know on PS2 version of Madden 09 there wasn't any players rated this low. Was it this way last year with Madden 09 on the 360?

I don't even remember any player being rated in the 50's last year on the PS2. I remember a few in the low-mid 60's but nothing any lower. A player with a 40's rating makes them like no need to even have them on the roster. What can they do with ratings this low? Not much of anything really. This is just my opinion & I'm not familiar with how ratings are assigned on the 360 compared to the PS2 but it doesn't sound right to me. Thanks!

Agreed. Brandon Johnson being a 48 is a complete joke. I would say he should be in the 60-65 range.

I'm afraid to say that some of these players will not make it past the roster cuts. It's too early to say what players need to be in the game. Thanks!

They need to be there to have a REAL free agent pool.

Yeah, I wouldn't panic till after the final roster cuts. They have to guess who will make the team a couple months before camps even start. Now if they had expanded preseason rosters this wouldn't be an issue....
