Is the overall calculator broken on Madden 10?

Maybe It is just me but it seems like the overalls do not represent the attributes of the players anymore, and I don't mean players arent rated high anymor cause I know madden has their new rating system but I don't think it accurately portrays who the better players are. I have a 66 Overall corner who is way better than my 76 overall corner. Does anyone else feel this way?

Yeah I think in a lot of ways the ratings don't even matter.

i don't know, when i play online games, its much easier the win with the colts than the chiefs, and is seems like when i throw to d bowe, he makes alot more catches than bobby engram

i agree. The rating process has gotten incredibly out of hand. With all the adjustments like not having to use the triangle button (for PS2/PS3) to catch the ball and the running backs that barely get hit by a defender and then fall to the ground like they've been shot or something, its kinda all animation and no skill needed in my eyes. They should seriously reconsider some of the ratings, for example, i have a defensive end on my created team that is predominantly lower than some of the others, yet, in franchise mode, he has over 50, thats right, 50! sacks on the season! but hey, ya cant get EVERY aspect of the game exactly perfect so i give EA & Madden some props for making such an overall great game.
