It doesn't because draft picks are not used or available until you start your franchise. You can't control draft picks and thing like that outside of franchise mode.

They don't move draft picks around to clearly frustrate just you. C'mon man, if they could they would, there is a reason they can't like above poster said.

How hard would it be to put somebody back in the game? Hopefully Crabtree is in so I can start working on my own offline rosters.

Thanks to the events of the yesterday, you can expect 49ers WR Michael Crabtree to be reinserted into the roster. Not to mention the results of the Browns WR Braylon Edwards to the Jets trade.
