You see there's a simple process that you can find on Youtube that gives you a lesson on how to do that. It involves a network cable and little changing of the settings on your laptop. Just go to youtube and type in the search bar.

"how to connect to PSN using a dialup connection". There I hope that helps. I did something just like it only it was to use my laptop's DSL connection. Good luck to you and happy gaming.

You'll need the following to setup your dialup connection.

1. a working dialup connection
2. a network cable
3. your desktop computer or laptop
4. your Playstation 3 turned on
