Just put the player's skills in the game and let the coaches (us) decide who to play where and when.

Positions don't really exist in the sense of "he's a WR". Positions exist on the field based on where a guy lines up, so that "WR" can be lined up in the HB position. He's a HB for that play, etc.

Madden is way off on the roster and position thing.

I mean, what is a Left Outside Linebacker? That doesn't even exist. Why can't we have strong and weak-side LB's? DT1 and DT2? No Nose Tackle? WR1, WR2, WR3? What the hell is that? There should be individual depth charts for FL, SE, and Slot.

And, agreeing with someone before, not being able to play anybody, anywhere is ridiculous. ALL THESE RULES MAN! Stop telling me what to do!

^^^^Well said man, there's so many hybrid players/playbooks out there that EA's "positions" are really holding us back from realistic football.
