Injured Reserve question

Is there any way to move players who are on IR to another team... or better yet is there a way to disable the IR all together? I like the updated rosters etc and I know you can take off pre-existing injuries before the season starts but I am looking for a way to move players around in the roster manager beforehand.

Also, why do we have the ability to look at the player's salary in the edit screen but we can't actually change it?
