Whatever roster set you start a franchise with is what you have. There was never a plan for franchises to get roster updates

I think you misunderstood his question. He's talking about ONLINE Franchise, which still uses the ancient update where Vick and Favre were added in.

I understood his question completely, I am in 3 online franchises, whatever the roster download that EA comes out with when you start is what you have for the entire duration of your franchise,( it includes a yearly rookie draft and retirements, trades)

I don't think you do get it. If you play online, you use a current roster set. But it you start an online franchise, it is always the origianal roster that came with the game.

I don't think it is unreasonable to want to start with an updated roster, as you can do in an offline franchise. I don't think it should have to be different for onloine and offline franchises.

The other area where online franchise is sorely lacking is in the availibility to play online with your team as it is in the franchise. I'm playing as the year two Falcons, but there is no way for me to play practice games with other members of my franchise with our teams as they are now. I can't even take the team into practice mode.

I love a lot of what Madden has done with franchise, but these points are ones I'm really hoping they address in Madden 11.

That's only true for offline franchise....

Any update on this? It would be nice to have the last roster update for online franchise. You would think that it would be a no-brainer for EA to do.
