Number of Caps?

I know after the first Madden update the numbers or created players was limited to only a few, but does anyone know what it was before(right out of the box)?

I am going to back up all my roster and franchise files and try this tonight...

I'm going to go to my PS3 Game Saves that holds all the game updates and delete the Madden 10 file. This should revert the game back to the way it was before any game and roster updates. I should then be able to load my own roster file that had the latest online roster and the off-season changes I made. Hopefully the number of CAP allowed to be created jumps to a higher number.

hate to burst your bubble here but I think that the updates are not what limits the number of CAPs, it IS the newest ROSTER. Each successive roster update added more and more players, which leaves you with less and less CAPs that you can do. On the latest update you can only do 3 CAPs. If you revert all they way back to the first roster (the one that didn't have Brett Favre or Michael Vick) you can get quite a few more.
