Created Team Roster

Hey guys, just curious, Ive never done this before on creating a team in Madden 10 (or any other madden) but wanted to try something different. How do I update my roster from my created team? Also, If I create my own player, how do I add him to my created team roster? And also, is there any way to make the players overall a better then say a 54 when creating a player? It'll be awesome if someone can help me out, I was trying to figure it out for like an hour but got nothing. Thanks a lot guys!

You cant edit players ratings, nor add players of any type to your created team, unless you fanasty draft.
