debate about cb's

me and my cousin had an arguement over what stat means more in defining a good cb. i say completion percent against and tds aloud, he says picks. my example is the reason revis is considered the best is because he has the lowest comp percent against amongst all cb in the league therefore a 99 on madden also. opinions please.

yeah I will agree with you. Picks are nice but not allowing completions is what a corner is all about. That's the definition of a shutdown cornerback, to shut down the other team's passing game and force them to run the ball more.

Picks are a pretty overrated basis for how good a Corner. I mean look at DeAngelo Hall back in Atlanta. He had an inflated amount of picks which made people think he was an elite corner. When in reality he was average.

Hard to get picks when they do not throw your way.
