Hey BL, in your spredsheet you had Rod Smart as a Patriot. He is still a Carolina Panther to my knowledge.

that first list i think is the players he has released from teams, so if you downloaded it you shouldn't worry if the former team is correct(unless you're using the sheet without downloading).

PLayers to add to the second list (players to be released, but you'll have to create a player to replace on depth chart or game won't let you release):

FS Ryan McNeil (SD)

http://espn.go.com/nfl/columns/pasqu...n/1594678.html

strait out release with no problems:

WR Robert Baker (Miami)

and players to sign (will have to find someone to release):

MLB J****tledge (FA) signs with Baltimore

good job on teh roster bl

The thing is, Rod Smart has never been a Patriot. Only an Eagle and Panther. It would be an easy mistake to make as Panthers are followed by Packers, then Patriots in Madden's roster alphabetizing (sp?)

Re: Madden 2004 Football Rosters - PS2 - blacklover

Yep, that's exactly what I did. He is a Panther.

Other than that error, the spreadsheet works like this.

I did some cuts and signings and then said "Hmmm, I should probably record these things for everybody."

Then I decided to just go from where I was. The spreadsheet relates to my file.

But since the rosters are so full to begin with i don't think I made too many moves before making the spreadsheet.

So you can probably take the FA spreadsheet and use it with the EA update.

The EA update is a little lacking if you want my opinion.

They added in 4 of the 5 players I created.

But they didn't fill up rosters that could pick up players with players who should be on their teams that are stillin the FA pool.

Not sure why.

They also have a few players on teams that are not on depth charts or on IR yet they stillhave them on the teams.

Also Kevin McLeod continues to be the Browns starting FB and Aaron Shea is the third string TE.

EA thinks differently. They have Shea as the starting FB and no McLeod.

Oh well.

Can't have everything.
