forgive me if this has already been asked a hundred times
with the lockout in effect & contracts for rookies being unable to be negotiated, will rookies such as Cam Newton & Mark Ingram be left off the
released default roster?

I don't think so. They already have youtube videos of Cam Newton as a Panther. Also, I think there has been times in the past where a player takes forever to sign, and they have still had him on the roster when the game comes out.
