it definitely works with a flash drive. it doesn't take up much space. the size of the file is small.

I tried to format one I have at my house on the 360 first and it said it needs at least 1 GB of room to format for 360.

Re: Guide to transferring Roster files to USB flash drive (X360 Users)

Hello! First off, thanks so much for posting this! I have one question; I get hung up on this step:

Select Open a save again and select the downloaded roster save. (Custom roster) You should have two windows open.

Are we supposed extract two files from the USB extraction program? When I try to open the 'custom roster' with Modio it only gives an option for the one that I extracted.

I'm sure the answer is very simple but it's late and it's the first time I've done this! Thanks in advance for your help!

the first file should be the madden 12 roster save from your xbox 360. he used the name "your roster" as the example. so you should have two files. "your roster" and custom roster.

The "Custom Roster" will not be on your USB drive. It's what ever roster file you are trying to use. Like the roster files posted here.

Re: Guide to transferring Roster files to USB flash drive (X360 Users)

So - I've successfully transferred files before using the method described here... But I'm having trouble with the draft classes from this thread: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...ss-thread.html

So - what I've been doing:

Save 4 roster 'dummy' files in Madden12
Extract the 4 files to my computer
Delete the 4 files off the USB drive
Copy and paste the id's from 1 dummy file to a draft class
Rehash the draft class
Repeat the above 2 steps for the other 3 draft classes
Place the draft classes on the USB drive in the folder instructed in the above link

But when I go to import a draft class - it says 'NO FILES'... Any thoughts?

Side question - Should the Profile ID and Device ID be the same or different for multiple files extracted from the USB drive?
