Guide to transferring Roster/Draft Class files to USB flash drive (X360 Users)

I know there is another guide already posted I just thought it may help some to have a few screen shots. I tried to make it as simple as possible. Feel free to add any suggestions.

***If you got here looking for info on how to use NCAA draft classes scroll down***

First off you are going to need these two programs for your PC/ Laptop or whatever you have.

USBXTAFGUI-v44 (USB explorer program)
MODIO (used to rehash/resign your roster file)

Extract the two programs to your desktop or anywhere you will be able to find them.

Next you need to have your own roster file that is on your USB. (this will have your unique profile and device id)

Start Madden.
• Choose My Madden --> File Management-->Save
• Hit Y-Button and make sure you have chosen your USB as device. (Memory Unit)
• Hit A-Button to save a new roster to the USB drive. (I named it “YourRoster” for the tutorial)
• You can now exit madden and remove the USB drive.

Open USBXTAFGUI-v44 after inserting USB drive into pc.

Click on File --> Open Device Selector --> Select your USB Memory Unit

Click on Data Partition -->Content--> E0000--> 45410937--> 00000001
You should see "YourRoster" file in the window to the right.

Drag and drop “YourRoster” to your desktop or right click and Extract.

Open up Modio

Select Open a save and select "YourRoster" file. (where you extracted it)
You should see this window.

Select Open a save again and select the downloaded roster save. (Custom roster) You should have two windows open.

Notice the Profile and Device id's do not match.

Copy and Paste both the Profile and Device id’s from "YourRoster" save to the Custom roster save.

The Profile and Device id's should now match.

Hit Rehash/Resign in the Custom roster window. If you miss this step it will not work.
You can now close Modio.

Back in USBXTAFGUI-v44 either drag and drop your resigned Custom roster into the file list or right click and hit Inject then choose the Custom roster.

It will look like this

You can also delete your original roster file."YourRoster".

Close USBXTAFGUI-v44

Fire up Madden and load up your updated rosters.

***Getting your NCAA Draft Classes onto your USB drive***

I am assuming you have downloaded the draft classes you intend to use.

First you must rehash/resign each draft class as shown above. (They must have your profile and device ID). Once you have done this you are ready to proceed.

- Open USBXTAFGUI-v44 after inserting USB drive into pc.

- Click on File --> Open Device Selector --> Select your USB Memory Unit

- Click on Data Partition -->Content-->Your profile id

If you do not have a folder named “45410000” you will have to create one.
(As far as I know this is where the draft classes from NCAA are stored.)

Right click and select “New Folder”. Name it “45410000”
Next create a sub folder named “00000003”. (inside the “45410000” folder you just made)

Should look something like this-

You can now drag and drop your rehashed/resigned draft classes into the “00000003” folder or right click and inject each file.

Should now look like this –

That should be it. When asked in game if you would like to import a draft class they should be available.
You may have to hit the Y button to select your memory unit before you see the draft classes.
This has worked for me. Hope it helps a few others.

*** The Draft Class files will not show up on your Xbox dashboard. You will need to go into the game to use them.***

***The only way I know to transfer the Draft Classes to the Xbox hard drive is using a HDD transfer cable and a program called Xplorer360***

I had to create an account on here to say thank you for your effort! This guide was much easier to read and follow, as the other one was just a little outdated.

Happy Madden!

hey don't you have to delete your old roster before you can get it to work?

Is there a program that will allow us PS3 users to do this?

You don't have to do all this for PS3, they are not signed for individual consoles. You can just DL the rosters people upload then transfer it directly to you PS3 from your USB drive.

But yeah, thanks for this. I was doing the same thing before but it wasn't working with the tools linked in the old thread but these one worked perfectly for me. 5 stars!

Re: Guide to transferring Roster files to USB flash drive (X360 Users)

thanks for the guide, I'm excited to get this going.
One question: When I try to download the updated rosters, it will ONLY let me open them, not save them to desktop. Anyone know why?
