when I load the file it says corrupted file, am I doing something wrong

yea...this is what you gotta do

get a flash drive...

create a folder called ps3

in that folder create a new folder called savedata

then go to www.download.com and search download winrar

then once you download my roster file, open it up in winrar, click extract file. then choose ur usb drive and have it save it to the "savedata" folder. once you do that it will be there, you take it back to ur ps3, pop it in and it should be there to copy to ur ps3.

if ur having trouble save a file on to ur usb first from ur ps3 and it will create the folders for you

It's because it's called "Custom" I think with the file name or something.

I know that I could put the roster by overwriting my own custom roster (not that it's changed - it's just putting Bromley on a team so she can be in franchise mode) and then I could use it. The reason it works (seemingly) is because the directory has "Custom" in it (since it's saved as Custom as the name of the roster) so the PS3 OS knows what to do with it.

I don't know how else to do it - and I'm glad you asked because I meant to as well.

Maybe if Schnaidt named the roster after him (SchanidtRost or something) and then zipped the exact file structure after he copies it to his memory stick/flash drive from within the PS3 and posted that - I think that would make it easier to grab/update/use his rosters.

Edit: My USB drive already has the PS3 file structure and such.

The file structure isn't right.

For example, what I mean is putting up a zip that has this inside of it:
(assuming the name is SCHNAIDT1 when you save it on your PS3 - I'm also assuming that BLUS stuff is the identifier for the game internally)

PS3\SAVEDATA\BLUS30770-ROSTER-SCHNAIDT1

Then the actual roster files inside that folder.

That way folks can unzip it, take the whole directory from their HD to the USB stick to the PS3 and updating would just be repeating that process.
