Roster confusion

I finally was able to get the updated roster for Madden 13 but when I try and start up a connected careers franchise the Free Agents are the same. Is there something I need to do to get the updated free agents in my CC, or do I need to make the adjustments before I start or do I need to start an online franchise to have the up to date rosters? I am an offline guy so I would rather play with an offline franchise.

the updated CCM ones finally come out tomorrow so u have wait till then.

nope that was the playnow/online play rosters.
