Re: Classic teams coming for 360...

Hey man, I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU trying to help me out with this! I figure you are the creator - so you are the best one to trouble shoot with. So please don't take anything I say as if something is wrong with your file or anything like that. I only mention Cursive's files to let you know that I have done this (4) times already. He has files for the years 1992, 2002, 1986 & 1995.

So of course I have the instructions. My problem is after I close Horizon. I then open the Editor select the .MCO2 file...I then go to actions>All players>Import...then the next step on the instructions say - Select the .CVS file you want to use. When I do that ...I cannot find your classic-roster file that I downloaded before starting this process? I'm just wondering if you did something different, because I'm following the instructions sir.

Also - Xan's instructions are ONLY to edit a roster. For instance...once I have a roster that is ready to play on Madden. I can follow Xan's instructions and make changes to those players. His instructions don't tell you how to get a file from the internet and load it onto a flash drive and then load it on your Xbox. Below are the instructions to do that sir. I also included all of Cursive's blog to let you know what I am referring too. THANKS AGAIN MAN - FOR ANY ADVISE YOU CAN OFFER!

Looking for help to correct portriat ID's as well as colleges and equipment.

Need Portraits and colleges. I am looking for help with these as well. Fixed colleges, projected round/pick, and some equipment edits, also did most skin tone changes.

I opened my Final 53 Man Roster and just copied over Player Names, Ages, Height, and Weight. Will be doing the same for 1986 and 1996, but looking for help either editing in Xan's reader or in game.

Files are working with Franchise and CCM modes.

***HOW TO LOAD***

Start Madden 12 or 13
Save any roster to a USB Device
Plug USB Device into PC
Open Horizon
Use Device Explorer to extract game save
Games Folder>Game Name>Right click save file and extract
Use Package Manager to open the save file
Once open go to Contents
Right click file and select Extract
Add a .MC02 at the end of the file name and Save
Close Horizon
Open Xan's Madden Editor
Go to File and Open Roster
Select the .MC02 file
Then go to Actions>All Players>Import
Select the .CSV file of mine you want to use
Go to File and Save Roster
Close Xan's Madden Editor
Open Horizon
Go to Tools>Package Manager>Open
Open the original roster file, not the .MC02
Go to Contents
Right Click the file and select replace
Select Save, Rehash, and Resign
Then Save to Device and Select USB

You should now be able to load my files to your 360 via USB

Ahhh..ok. Yes, since my roster is just a roster file you would have to use the steps above to read it into Horizon, the save as MC02 file as you know. Once you open the MC02 file in the editor, you can Export all the players I believe. I did not include that csv in the download. So that is why you are not seeing it. You would have to perform that task from Xan's editor.

But if your intent is simply to use my roster file on your 360, why can't you just overwrite a current roster file you have from your 360 in Horizon and rehash/resign and then copy back to USB in Horizon? I am not sure why you are seeking the csv file...

Re: Classic teams coming for 360...

Thanks for the great advice my man. Of course I would have liked to do any editing I thought was needed....but the bottom line is - I want the roster!!!

Well I tried it 6 times and each time it I tried to load up the roster on the 360 it stated that the roster file appears to be damaged and cannot be used? So close but yet so far my man. I saw that someone else had the same experience and that is why I kept trying over and over again. Anymore ideas sir?

Re: Classic teams coming for 360...

Are you using Modio or Horizon. I had that happen to me using Modio a few times but never with Horizon.

Let me send you a new version in which I did some more editing. I will do that tonight.

Oh man...you are so kind! Thanks. I'm actually using Horizon. I was watching some special last night - Best QBs of the 70's...it really got me hyped for your rosters my man.

Re: Classic teams coming for 360...

commentary has been fixed

what value number do you assign in madden editor so that Nantz calls a player by number instead of by name? Thanks for a clear and detailed explanation

I did not fix any commentary. The posting you saw that in was a copy of a post in the editor thread by Xan..
