If it's any help, every time I decrypt my roster file it says:
[*] Warning: A disc hash key was not found. A fallback disc hash key will be used.

May this be the problem?

Dear bedwardsroy19, I had the exact same problem as you and as soon as I downloaded "vb5 runtime" like this guy said, and left the USR-DATA un-renamed, it finally opened for me in Madden Roster Editor. Hope it works for you.

I'm having the same issue. I've read and re-read the instructions to make sure I was doing everything listed. I had to download the vb5 thing in order to completely get things to open, but I'm still getting the error other guys are having. I've tried it renamed and unnamed with the same problems. I also restarted my computer to no avail.

Great tool! Any word if this will work for the PS4 version of Madden 25 or is in the works for the PS4? Really would love to edit player builds/heights/appearance to be more accurate.

So, I have no earthly idea why, but I retried today and got it working first attempt.

Update: Interestingly, if I exit bruteforce, I get the error message. If I leave it open, I do not.

Is there a conversion table out there?

By that I mean it maps the short hand fields in the editor to the attribute.

I am working on a Head Coach file and there are so many I can't figure out just from context.
