Instead I upgraded all of their wr's/te awr. To further test it I upgraded one team with 99 awr for qb/wr/te (the packers).

Here are the stats. They look fairly realistic. Brees would have been over 4,000yds. There were only 7 qbs with a cmp pct less than 55%, lowest was 50% (I think they hate Bradford LOL). 8 qb's over 4,000 yds. 21 qbs with 20+ tds.

Before you get really excited there is a really huge statistical drawback. When you bump up the qb awr the sacks go to ridiculous levels. DAL led the league with 23, NYG had the lowest with 3!

But I think the fix might be to increase just the wr/te awr. Like I said I raised the wr/te awr on the Jags but didn't increase their qb's awr. These were their qb stats.

54.6%, 3,467 yds, 6.0 ypa, 20tds-15ints
These are pretty realistic stats for what JAX would do IRL, maybe a little high in tds. And they were sacked 31 times.

I'm going to start working on a roster to bump up wr/te awr and then sim it to see what happens. The one thing I didn't like about changing the qb awr was that there were no true elite qb's. G.Smith was bumped up to 92 ovr. The awr upgrade is much less impactful on a wr ovr.

Pursuit and Block Shedding maybe something you want to raise for the ELITE pass rushers to try to balance out the sacks. Look forward to hearing more results.

For pass rush, block shed is by far the category you want to concentrate on.Good finesse pass rushers in particular have issues because their block shed ratings are too low.The better ones should be at least around 90 and certainly no lower than 80 block shed.

Those sim stats look great! Yeah, QB ratings take huge bumps, and sack #s are crazy, but I think it's worth it, those look pretty realistic. Hoping meshing those with vtcrb's stuff will create a great roster very soon!

That being said, IS there a way to convert 360 rosters to PS3 or did I misunderstand that concept?

THX!
Yes this is possible. You still have to use the editors and stuff so it's not as simple as using roster share.

Yup, smiley3 has volunteered to take a wack at the PS3 conversion when the roster goes final...

He's been looking for a project to try out his editor skills with...

So, it'll potentially save my bacon and hopefully make other PS3 users happy as well...

vctrb approved it via PM, so when it's good to go, we should be good to go...

Re: Sim Stats for QBs AWFUL, Gameplay Good? Anyone else notice?

As you can see, apart from a little inflation, there stats are getting much closer to the real NFL. The one drawback is that the passing yards are over 400yds higher per team over the season or about 25 ypg. This makes the defensive numbers inflated as well. The best D was Pitt at 325ypg which would have ranked 9th last year. The worst was Dallas with 413ypg (which would still be better than the Saints, sorry had to get that jab in).

Sacks were still a big sticking point. There were 1,169 sacks in the NFL last year. In my sim there were 626.

It's close but still needs some major tweaking. Now that I know awr is a big issue with the sim engine I'm going to start a 32 team CFM and just upgrade awr naturally and see what happens.

Great stuff. Did you Edit any of the Defensive Players? I think that will be major for increasing the sack total.
