Have you made sure that you have removed the retired players from the roster file all together? Did you export them as a .CSV file for each retired player that you removed?

I don't know what would cause that. Have you asked PeoplesChampGB to see what he had to say about this happening. Send him a PM & see if he can help you Randall. Thanks!

It's the player Id's of the default roster players. Basically every player from a default Madden roster will continue to appear in franchise mode unless you account for their player Id and original Id (they have to match). You need to assign the player Id's of the default players to your current players to correct it. It's a process that takes a while due to scheme and additional audio that is tied to some former players. To get them all, I make a roster with all the players set to 55 years of age. I then start a franchise and go into the available free agents and check for anybody that is younger than 55. If they are younger than 55, it is a default roster player that will appear in franchise mode regardless if you have deleted them or not. Fixing the Id's will also allow fantasy draft to work again since you tricked the game into thinking that all the default players are indeed on the roster.

It takes multiple hours to fix this and it is very tedious changing and entering numbers in the editor or an excel CSV file.

That is a lot of work & I remember doing a little of sorting like this back when I was still doing roster work up until late 2011. I'd like to see what Randall has to say about this.

To see if he's willing to do all this to fix the file. I know he's said he was in the process of fixing it but has he chatted with you or PeoplesChampBG over PM or something so you'll can let him know & possibly help him out. Thanks!

The problem with me or PeoplesChampGB helping is that we are on different games. I'm on M15, he's on M12. I do plan on doing this for M15 in February 2017 when the final M17 roster is released but this year I want to finish up on the classic roster that I am making. He would need someone on M25 that knows what they are doing to help. Preferably someone on PS3.

The easiest thing to do would be to just take care of the big name players. Assign We/Te to Ol/Qb/Hb, assign Ol to Wr/Hb/Qb, assign Qb/Hb to Ol/Wr/Te for star players. If they're not stars or players with additional audio you can assign them anywhere. Defense is a little harder to correct but assign the front 7 to the backfield and the backfield to the front 7. Even then the star players added audio will still come up occasionaly when making a tackle. It is best to assign the star defensive players Id's to scrubs that will see little to no playing time but they will still have that star players development trait. Doing just the stars would take 30-60 minutes but it's better than the 4-6 hours it takes to correct them all.

Love the roster, but is there any way to take the dreadlocks off of Dak Prescott? I don't think he's ever had them, other than that, great work!

That's what I am working to fix. I am going to assign those ID's to low OVR players first so hopefully we never hear the audio.
