All I know is that I can't wait for a good set of these either.
Until then....

So let's work on them. I've played one preseason game and had 7 int's between the two teams, so I know these need to be taken down. Running for both teams was extremely difficult, and it seems that the first hit by anyone on a back takes them down, so I'm going to turn tackling down a bit as well.

Re: Coach mode sliders........

Hey guys I took the sliders that I received from a guy name Lombardi for the 2005 Madden game, I tried these sliders and played Kansas City At Arizona
I got to excited to write down all the stats but I can say that Trent Green did throw for 401 yards. Here are the sliders try them and let me know what you think.
Again the credit for these go to a guy named Lombardi not me.

speed: All Pro
Coach Mode On
QB Cone ON
Auto Pass Off

sub out 78
sub in 88

both cpu and human sliders are same settings
Offense
QB Acc 5
Pass Blk 2
WR Catch 10
RB ability 13
RB Blocking 11

Defense
Awareness 2
Knockdowns 5
Interceptions 5
Break Blocks 7
Tackle 10

Special Teams
FG Length 10
FG Acc 5
Punt Length 14
Punt Acc 13
Kick Offs 11

12 min qrts accelerated clock on
the one thing I noticed was Trent green had time Kurt Warner did not
but the Cardinals running game with Arrington was unstoppable
I played as the KC Chiefs and I never had trouble stopping the run in 2005
but against the cpu with the improve blocking the running back got good gains
There where no interception in the game.
I am working on the Penalties it was nice to see defensive pass interferance I use the default setting for these but play around with these and see if we can come up with a great setting.

Crob, how was the running game? Did that produce satisfactory results for you? (I know it's just a one game sample)

Re: Coach mode sliders........

I don't know if this will help. I tried to play a full 15 minute game (accelerated clock on), but only got halfway through the first quarter (girlfriend came home from working late).

I was coaching the Dolphins against the Pats.

It seemed running came a little too easy for the computer. Though, I didn't play long enough to really dictate whether I could stop it.
Both possessions by the Patriots ended with interceptions.

Passing seems to be difficult on both ends, as Feeley went 0-3. Brown averaged about 3 yards a carry and I was three and out on both of my possesions. But because of the turnovers, I was in FG range and Mare went 2-2 in that category.

These were played with the sliders out of the box (I'm guessing Pro).
The time of the game actually seemed to be good (four possesions and there was about 7 minutes left), but the turnovers were ridiculous (there was also a fumble).
Tackling seemed to be too high as well (Too many DBs sticking tackles by themselves and coming off pulled guards).

I'm sure someone will come out with a finished version, but if you guys are working on this, perhaps this helps. I'll be looking forward to these sliders, too.

I've been thinking about working on a set but don't want to tie too much time up doing them, in the meantime I do like to coach at times and will give these a look to see where they're at and how the gameplay/flow is at 12 minutes, still sounds like a long game though but if the numbers come out right then hey I might go for it but still 12 minutes sounds like a serious "sim" to me so I'll let you know what I think bro.

Holla Back y'all

Re: Coach mode sliders........

Lombardi said at MM that he's working on some coach mode sliders for 06. I'll wait for those.
