Re: AJ's ALL MADDEN....ALL MAN SLIDERS!!!

All Madden, 12 minute accl clock

GB at SD (me)

GB 28 - SD 3

Total offense 401/180
Rush 62/65
Pass 339/115
First downs 13/8

GB
Favre 18-30 for 344 passing, 4 TD and 2 INT
Green 22-46 rush
Walker 7-148 receiving, 2 TD

SD
Brees 12-30 for 133 passing
LT 24-64 rush
Gates 2-23 rec. and 4 drops
Parker 3-38 rec. and 3 drops
McCardell 1-15 rec. and 1 drop
LT 2-28 rec. and 1 drop

Those drops were of the wide open and for no reason variety. Some lob passes, some bullets, but nearly everyone hit them in the hands and they did not have a defender on top of them. I can understand dropping the pass when getting hit or the random occasional wide open dropped pass or when the qb is on the run or getting hit, but not that many wide open no pressure drops.

Brees should have been closer to 19 or 20 for 30 and something along the lines of 200 yards. Two of the drops by Gates would have gone for at least 30 yards each, one maybe for a score.

The running game for human and cpu was poor. Inside, outside, draws, stretch plays, tosses, you name it, it didn't work. LT's long was 8, Green's long was 10.

Despite all that, I liked these sliders because there is plenty of room to tweak them to my skill. I can fix the drops and there is plenty of room to add a bit to the running game for both human and cpu. If I can fix the drops, my passing game will be fine.

Cpu took it to me, and I liked it. A much better game on all-madden than any I've gotten out of all-pro, plus I didn't feel cheated other than the drops.

Re: AJ's ALL MADDEN....ALL MAN SLIDERS!!!

SF 7 (Me)

PHI 30 (CPU)

Total Offense (Me/CPU) 176 / 310
Rushing Yards 124/120
Passing Yards 52/190

Smith QB RTG - 0.0 72 yds 3 INT 7-27 (25%) 4 sacks
McNabb - 131.6, 191 yds, 2 td, 12-19 1 sack

Westbrook 30 ATT 96 yds (3.2 AVG)
Barlow 16 att 71 yds (4.4 AVG)
Gore 10 Att 46 Yds (4.5 AVG)

WR - 5 Drops

Felt shafted on catches and it was even more than those 5. The three picks were bad but I also felt I couldn't buy an INT. They didn't run well, and I could get zero sacks on my rushes. Overall sliders are good though.

Tweaks in Human Catch, CPU Running Game, CPU O-Line, would all be good, and Human INT.

These sliders are too hard it's not even funny. Anyone who can play well with these sliders is my god.

Re: AJ's ALL MADDEN....ALL MAN SLIDERS!!!

lol to last post....hahhaha..."is my god" man that is funny bro...

Anyhoo, let me ask you this, play a couple of games to get used to it being so difficult and go from there...you really have to think about every play every down and really read the defense.

I'm glad you like the base set, and yes there is minimum tweakage to your gameplay...I am a sim buff...I want to be punished for stupid coverages and mistakes...like running man coverage on tory holt with shawntae spencer. Things like that I love!! When you beat the CPU on this diff you feel so rewarded man! It feels like you accomplished a great goal in life

Ok so after further study, I adjusted the HUM WR CTH FROM 6 TO 8 AND THAT SEEM TO FIX IT. For Int's I bumped it up one notch to fix the drop int problem...let me know how the other games go.

I definitely can understand how you feel...When you play with these sliders think about real life..think about momentum..If it's on your side...you have a great game but if it's not, its tough to do anything...I had two picks with Tony Parrish and he took one to the house...It was a zone blitz...remember play to the niners strengths (or whatever team) if that team runs 52% and passes 48% then look at the drive stats when you score or whenever you want and kinda govern your gameplay..West coast, alot of motion, playaction, running, and dump offs to the backs and slants!

Hopefully that helps.

thanks mudtiger, do some adjustments and you'll be just fine...I average maybe one drop or two every three or so games, remember the awareness for the recievers tie into the catch. yeah u did have an over excessive amount of drops!! make sure you got the right settings

Re: AJ's ALL MADDEN....ALL MAN SLIDERS!!!

come on guys in the community, i need more feedback to make more adjustments...I've been doing sliders every year...I used to be a big gamefaqs buff but the people over there started acting stupid..lol...But trust me people, I'm 28 yrs old and a football addict...my borther plays football for baylor as a DE and i seen more game film than you can imagine...My highschool friend is a Asst Defensive Coordinator at Baylor so I get alot of good info and see alot of things that make games real, and unforgiving, and if you feel like after you have tried these rosters, that in real life if you call the wrong def or get stuck in "run the same 7 or 8 plays" mode that you shouldnt get bashed by the opponent for 48 min, than maybe i'm posting this great set and doing this hard work for the wrong community. i have now totaled 80+ hrs in these sliders and rosters, please support and let me know how more games go!
