Re: Xbox Current Gen Coach Mode sliders?

Things have changed and I've opted not to get a 360. I've also been converted to cpu vs. cpu. That's sim in its purest form. I only jump into the game to make personnel changes when someone is ticking me off and needs some pine time. I'm enjoying it so much that I want to get my hands on another copy of Madden just to see how some of my guys from Fresno State could do in the NFL.

Re: Xbox Current Gen Coach Mode sliders?

what sliders do you use for cpu vs cpu? I had a good set of coach mode/cpu vs cpu sliders but unfortunately one of my roommates decided to be an *** and messed up all my work on coach mode sliders for the past several years.

Re: Xbox Current Gen Coach Mode sliders?

I'm back. After 8 seasons in a dynasty on NCAA 07, I now see that I am able to get through more than 1 year with a team and Madden's probably got the best coach mode around. I had some store credit at blockbuster so I rented 07 again, loaded up Redwolf's sliders and jumped immediately into a dynasty with Buffalo (worst rating based on default rosters, 84 overall).

We were up 31-17 on Carolina in the first preseason game but they managed to send it into overtime after Lindell missed the FG as time expired that would've given us the win in regulation. We won the toss and chose to receive. We got to about the 50 and that brought up 4th and 2. I figured, it's the preseason...let's do it. I called a tight I formation pa pass and losman hit royal just over the outstretched hand of richard marshall to get the 64 yard touchdown.

Re: Xbox Current Gen Coach Mode sliders?

I started over with Buffalo this time opting to sim the 2006 season and begin with the off-season. We drafted...

Dwayne Jarrett, WR-USC (83 Ovr)
Brian Leonard, FB-Nebraska (79 Ovr)
Ryan Moore, WR-Miami (78 Ovr)
Derek Schouman, TE-Boise State (79 Ovr)
Jordan Palmer, QB-UTEP (77 Ovr)
Buster Davis, MLB-Florida State (75 Ovr, 70 Awr)

Jarrett and Moore look good already in the 1st preseason game. Jarrett is my WR2 behind Lee Evans. Palmer came into the game and went 2-3 for 17 yards (both to Ryan Moore) before tearing his achilles and being lost for the season.

Buster Davis has a tackle already.

Re: Xbox Current Gen Coach Mode sliders?

I reckon this thread is dead but I'll ask anyway. Should the vision cone be on or off? I know you can tell the difference between QBs with good and bad awareness with it on but getting sacked 7 times in 2.5 quarters is kinda ridiculous. I mean, I'm using the Bills and Holcomb has an 83 awareness and a good sized vision cone but he seems to hold the ball much too long. He's been sacked 4 times. I'm in the preseason so Losman is in during this, the 3rd quarter and he's been sacked 3 times already.

I'm playing against Minnesota and they've got Mike McMahon, David Carr and Kevin Kolb (a rookie) and we've only sacked them twice.

Re: Xbox Current Gen Coach Mode sliders?

I'd just push up pass blocking and increase knockdowns. The human controlled team in the game always seems to get sacked a lot. I've had Favre go down an average of 7 times a game for half a season before I deleted that franchise. I still want to find a great coach mode that can get accurate plays and stats since my roommate and I play coach mode against each other constantly since we both already can put up 600 yds passing when playing.

Use 2 profiles and controllers to turn the Vision Cone OFF for both the human and cpu. To get good results with these, you MUST use two controllers to turn the cone OFF for hum and cpu.

Quite a few guys are using these much to my surprise. I've never been a "slider guy", but these kind of stuck. GL
