Just takes patience and finding the holes. If that doesn't work, bump up the run block 1 or 2 notches for both. And also, the Bears run D in this game is sick, so try playing the Texans, Titans, 49ers, etc. or even one of the Europe teams to get a feel for the slide protection.
I was less concerned with my run game than the cpu controlled CHI's. They ran 9 times the entire game and had 26 plays with 10 min qtrs! Coaching strategy adjustments might fix their playcalling like many did a few years back, but what a pain in the butt going thru each coach for played games to get good playcalling ......... do you make any changes with coach startegies of cpu controlled teams?

No, try jumping the quarters to 15 min with Acc Clock. I don't know how much you like the Ask Madden feature on both offense and defense, but try it. It makes you work to move the ball and stop the cpu. Turn the cone off for the cpu as well, so you can't read where they are throwing the ball. The easiest way to do this, is set 2 profiles with both sub % at 88/93, and for profile 2 turn off the cone. When you go to play move controller 2 like you were playing a 2 player game, and before the kickoff, switch controller 2 back to the cpu, and the cpu will play with those settings.

Also, play the Bills and let me know how McGahee runs on you.

Giving up the playcalling duties ruins the game for me, but I like that idea to get rid of the cone.

I use to play that way also, but I found myself running money plays all the time. Now, using the ask madden feature, I allow myself to use all my audibles only once per half, mainly when the feature throws in a stupid play call. See, by using the ask madden on defense, you will occasionally be caught in a zone formation and the cpu will eat you up on the ground.

For those who are having trouble running, try dropping the CPU break block one notch.

I never played ss, so I wouldn't know, but I've heard there isn't any acc clock in there, is that true? It wouldn't hurt to try them though.
