Re: Playmakers All-Pro Sliders converted for Current Gen

I thought with the defensive awareness so high for the computer it would be impossible to get any good offense going. Boy was I wrong. I just got done with a shootout against the Cardinals. It didn't seem really easy though, I felt lucky on several plays that ended up being big.

Here's some stats:
Rams: 49 (6 TDs, 2 FGs, Safety, 1 Missed 2 Pt Conversion)
Cards: 42 (6 TDs)

Bulger 27-36, 5TDs, 1INT
Warner 19-35, 4TDs, 2INT

Jackson 23-154, 1TD
Edge 21-60, 2TD

Holt 11-146, 2TD
Jackson 3-92, 1TD

Fitz 7-123, 1TD
Johnson 4-90 3TD

Overall the game seemed rediculously high scoring but the main reason was because of turnovers in their own zone giving each team horrifically good field position. My scoring was also aided by 3 huge 'lucky' plays that I can't see happening very often (Jackson took a backfield pass 70 yards, a long Jackson run, and a deep ball to Holt that was tipped by the defender). I'll try another one to see if the offense is still crazy but a shootout between the Cardinals and Rams shouldn't be shocking.

Broncos 21 (CPU) vs Cards 13 (Me)
1st Half
14 - 3 Broncos. They had 200 yds total and I had 138. They completed two bombs one on the first play of the game for 73 yards where I blitzed the saftey and another for 80, both to Walker.
First downs Cards (8) Broncos (3)

Game Stats
Total Offense Cards (287) Broncos (318)
Warner 20-41 214yds Sacked once
Plummer 7-17 238yds 2 TD Sacked 3 times
Edge 22-68 1BTK
Shipp 11-17 1TD
M.Bell 20-67 1TD 1 Fumble 4BTK
T. Bell 3-19
First Downs Cards 17 Broncos 8
I used 12 min Acc Without switching on defense. I had to battle for rushing yards which was nice but they didn't attempt much and they couldn't get that much either, Mike Bell had a 23 yard run. I'll have to try another game later this one seemed like it may just be kind of a fluke.

Try playing the Chargers or Bills and not switch defensive players. I use the Broncos as well, and LT has 7 carries for 52 yds on me through 1 quarter. I play 15 min accelerated clock. Also, play them on the road, I've played enough games to realize that it does seem that the home team has a slight advantage. I can hold good backs the majority of times at home to under 100 yds, but on the road, they eat me up.

It lasts just over an hour for me, but I'm thinking of dropping back down to 12 or 13 minutes, as if you control the ball and clock with the ask madden feature, my starting back is getting the ball 30+ times a game while the backup gets around 10-15 carries.

I'm almost done with the first half of another game, Redskins at Broncos(me) and I'll post those stats as I have to get ready for work here soon.
