Is that 200 sim injury a bit high?
I am not familiar with it, the PS2 has no numbers on the sliders with injuries.
I clicked up 200 notches on sim and that is almost twice the normal.

Is there not too many season ending injuries and stuff like that?

when you load up your franchise go to settings and then go to injury and empty the bar for the played games..
then fill up the bar for the sim games..

yes this does cause more injuries to the sim games but so far its the only way that I have found to only keep anywhere from 1-0 RB's at the endo of the year from having over 400 attempts.. I can sim a full season on these and most of the RBS won't go over 370-380 and every now and then I will have 1 or 2 in the real low 400's.....

and as for the passing goes the best passers usually end up with 3500 to 3800 yds passing. one other note I hardly ever have a RB hit 1900 the usally fall between 1600 and 1800 for the year.. so these are good for simulation stats for the games you don't play...
