All righty, I just played two games with these sliders. The first one I used the sliders just as they were posted here:
NYJ 31 vs. MIA 21 (me)
I don't remember the stats, but Thomas Jones ran for over 200 yards, so I knew there was a problem. The game was good, but there were serious tackling issues on both sides both in terms of tackling strength and tackling effectiveness. Too many fumbles as a result of hard hits from non-weapons. Jones had a freaking 96-yd TD run, which I wouldn't have cared about if he hadn't of shrugged off EIGHT tackles in the process.
So I changed some things (kept the prime numbers) by increasing user tackle and decreasing cpu tackle and RB ability all to 53.
MIA 35 (me) vs. DAL 21
T. Romo 306yds 29-34 3TD 2INT
T. Green 281yds 14-22 3TD 0INT
J. Jones 22att 117yds 0TD
R. Brown 16att 43yds 1TD
I had 8 sacks and Martin Gramatica botched a 28-yd FG. As you can see, the cpu is still a very effective runner even with user tackle increased and RB Ability decreased. My running game surprised me because I did not change any of the user RB/blocking sliders, and in the game with the Jets Ronnie Brown had over 100yds. So that's pretty good too.
Still, the game was exciting and pretty realistic. Romo ended Dallas's chances when I pinned them on their own 2-yd-line and he threw a desperate pass that was picked by Jason Allen on the 15-yd-line and returned for a TD.
Pretty good job JT30!
