Sliders/turnovers

So after experimenting with a few sets of sliders and tweaking them a tad bit, i thought my extreme turnover problem was gone. 1 INT and only 1 fumble in the first 3 quarters. Then the dreaded fourth came. Added another INT and 3 more fumbles (one caused by the ground that was reviewed and yet not overtruled).

I've read that turning off the weapons system will help with the turnover problem? Can anybody tell me if this is true? If i turn off the weapons I'll probably have to tweak my sliders all over again wont I? Will big power backs begin to start running through brick wall defenders all the time with the weapons system off? Thats what I am afraid of. I have got the run game down to pat, good yards gained, not too many broken tackles and big gains, no 200 yard games constantly, but im afraid with weapons off that will begin to happen.

I guess i will give it a shot.

P.S. - I'm playing my version of 'spectator mode'. I switch back and forth the controlled team when they are on defense and let the computer run the plays, i just choose what madden says is best for me.
